To be saved, we must become perfect and holy and must die holy because God is perfect and holy. Luke 1:75, Leviticus 20:26, et al.

Overcoming all, for divine perfection, is the ultimate goal for the salvation of Jesus. James 4:7-11

The theology of perfection is not that Jesus will cover our imperfections with His perfection so that we can get to the Kingdom of God though imperfect but covered by the blood of YHWH. Jesus told Abraham to be perfect, not to slack somehow and YHWH (Jesus) will adjust whatever is missing for perfection.

Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48 ASV

Thou shalt be perfect with Jehovah thy God.  Deuteronomy 18:13 ASV

And Abram was ninety-nine years old, when Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said to him, I am the Almighty *God: walk before my face, and be perfect. Genesis 17:1 Darby

For whoever shall keep all the Law, but stumbles in one, he has become guilty of all. James 2:10 LITV

That ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. Numbers 15:40 ASV

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him. John 14:21 ASV

Ephesians 2:8-10 ASV
(8)  for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
(9)  not of works, that no man should glory.
(10)  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.
