WE MUST BE PERFECT AS GOD IS PERFECT. THIS COMMANDMENT OF PERFECTION (HOLINESS) IS NOT FROM THE GRACE OF JESUS but SELF-SEEKING ACCORDING TO JUDAISM (Matthew 5:48, John 4:22, Hebrews 12:14). Divine perfection does not concern God but man who must become perfect and die perfect like God.

Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48 ASV

If you claim with Satan that no man can be perfect, you disagree (sin) with Jesus who commands us to be perfect like God. Hence, because God is holy and righteous, a perfect believer in the Jehovah Jesus must also be holy and righteous like God. Ephesians 4:12

witnesses of Jesus of Nazareth logo

We must live and die perfect because God Father is perfect. A perfect believer is without sin (disobedience) because we must do the will of God here on earth as it is done in Heaven (Matthew 6:10) and walk as Jehovah Jesus walked.

Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48 ASV

(11) And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; (12) for the perfecting of the saints [HOLY ONES], unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: Ephesians 4:11-12 ASV

The law or commandment of self-holiness 'Be ye holy' must be kept for true salvation, according to Leviticus 19:2; 20:7-8, 1 Peter 1:15, Hebrews 12:14, Ephesians 1:3-4, Revelation 11:18, et cetera. If we die with any unforgiven sin or while sinning, we will not be saved because we must stop sinning before we die to be without sin and seek free forgiveness before we die. If not, we did not overcome anything for our salvation. There will be no second chance to ask for forgiveness upon the resurrection of the dead (Revelation 22:11). Jesus will no longer be the High Priest ministering for our salvation in Heaven. The time is now to stop sinning in order to be daily without sin, as the cited verses teach. How to attain holiness? Numbers 15:40 and Revelation 14:12 have the answer: keep all the laws of God and the belief of Jesus.

Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification [HOLINESS] without which no man shall see the Lord: Hebrews 12:14 ASV

Jesus (God) gives us commandments for us to keep, to observe, or to do. We cannot expect Him to do the commandments for us. Why is that important to understand? To understand the commandment of self-holiness that is required for salvation.

self-holiness
perfection
belief of Jesus
confession of Him
Jesus is Jehovah
Then, His salvation

Ye shall be holy | Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father| Leviticus 19:2-3

In Leviticus 19:2-3, Jesus gives us 2 commands: to be holy and to fear our parents. Ask yourself this, 'Do I expect God to fear my parents for me so that I do not have to fear them?' Also, 'Do I expect God to be holy for me so that I do not have to become holy as He commands me?'

If you can understand that you cannot possibly expect Jesus to do those 2 chores for you, but that you must do them yourself, then you can understand that Jesus wants you to be holy for Him because He is holy and that Jesus is not going to be holy for anyone so that we do not have to become holy because we claim with Satan that we cannot be holy.

When the disguised ministers of light of Satan teach and preach that you cannot become holy but that the blood of Jesus or Jesus Himself will be holy for you (your holiness) to make you holy or only God is holy, if you can think clearly for a minute, you must realize that Satan has been fooling you because Satan is lying to you saying that God will do for you what God asks you to do or that God will be(come) for you what He wants you to be(come).

'Ye shall be holy" means that God wants us to be holy on our own (self-holiness), just as He is asking us to fear our parents on our own and as we cannot expect Him to fear our parents for us because we cannot do it or because we do not want to do that.

HOLINESS IS ATTAINED BY OBEYING ALL GOD'S LAWS  (COMMANDMENTS) ON THE ETERNAL SINFUL EGYPTIAN AND CANAANITE BEHAVIORS AND BELIEFS, ALONG WITH OTHER REQUESTS FROM GOD, IN JUDAISM. Read, to understand, Numbers 15:40, Leviticus 18:3, Matthew 5:17-18, Ezekiel 33:13-20, John 9:31, 14:21-23, Romans 2:13, Revelation 11:18, Exodus 20:3.

LISTEN UP!
Contrary to what the disguised ministers of Satan claim and teach about lawless holiness, holiness is attained by adhering 100% (and no less) to the set of behaviors or laws or rules or commandments which are detailed in Moses and the Prophets (Ezekiel 33:13, James 2:10) to avoid being tormented in the lake of fire to come, according to the parable of Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16:29-31), just as it was required of the Israelites who lost for now the spiritual holy Kingdom of God to the Gentiles (Matthew 21:43) who are expected to obey the set of behaviors for holiness, even when if facing death (Hebrews 12:4, 14).

Complying with the holiness (sanctification) commandment is NECESSARY to see YAHWEH (the LORD) or to be saved (Hebrews 12:14), no matter what you have heard about the doctrine. It is a self-seeking state if you can understand that it is a commandment. God does not keep His commandments for us and does not turn us into what the commandment states with a wand. All commandments of God require action from our end not from God

Blameless (perfect, flawless, complete) you shall become with Yahweh Elohim of you (Deuteronomy 18:13 CESAIRE)

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. Exodus 19:6 ASV

Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy; for I Jehovah your God am holy Leviticus 19:2 ASV

(15) But like as he who called you is holy, be ye yourselves also holy in all manner of living; (16) because it is written, Ye shall be holy; for I am holy 1 Peter 1:15-16 ASV

Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification [holiness] without which no man shall see the Lord: Hebrews 12:14 ASV

(11) And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; (12) for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: Ephesians 4:11-12 ASV

Adam and Eve lost their perfection, their holiness when they disobeyed God to do as they saw fit in their eyes.

It cannot be that Jesus died to allow imperfection (disobedience) to thrive and be allowed in the Kingdom of God.

The penalty for disobedience is death. God died to pay for death of disobedience (sin) not to excuse disobedience (sin) as the message of salvation from God is repentance (Luke 5:32) for remission of sins. Remission of sins is cancellation of sins. Once our sins are cancelled because we repented (Ezekiel 33:13-20) we became without sins like God because God says that He forgets all our sins once we decide to no longer sin our sins (Ezekiel 33:13-20).

If God does not care about our perfection or our holiness, there would have been no need for the sacrifice of Jehovah God to redeem and save mankind upon His resurrection.

We are talking about the free salvation of God as if God is more than about doing as He says and less about doing as He says.

What does Paul imply when he speaks about being blameless, flawless, complete, perfect? We can be blamed by God for not doing something as God commands it or doing something even though God forbids it.

If we do not do something that God commands us to do, we have a flaw, we are no longer perfect, we are incomplete. We are called upon to repent, to comply with the command to start acting the required behavior. That is, in the Kingdom of God.

If we do something that God forbids us to do, we have a flaw, we are no longer perfect, we are incomplete. We are called upon to repent, to comply with the command to stop acting the forbidden behaviour. That is, in the Kingdom of God.

We call the Jehovah of the Torah and the Prophets an angry God. He is and will be. In His anger, He destroyed the first iteration of mankind except eight. He will carry the same angry act again except not by drowning but by fire.

The God of the New Testament is still the same old angry and consuming fire God (Hebrews 13:8)

Sins forgotten

Ezekiel 33:13-16
(13) When I say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his righteousness, and commit iniquity, none of his righteous deeds shall be remembered; but in his iniquity that he hath committed, therein shall he die.
(14) Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
(15) if the wicked restore the pledge, give again that which he had taken by robbery, walk in the statutes of life, committing no iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
(16) None of his sins that he hath committed shall be remembered against him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

Perfection

Deuteronomy 18:13
(13) Thou shalt be perfect with Jehovah thy God.

Matthew 5:48
(48) Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

James 1:4
(4) And let patience have its perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.

Holiness

Leviticus 20:7-8
(7) Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I am Jehovah your God.
(8) And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am Jehovah who sanctifieth you.

Numbers 15:39-41
(39) and it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that ye follow not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to play the harlot;
(40) that ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
(41) I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Jehovah your God.

God does not hear or listen to sinners! God only listens to holy ex-sinners!

We know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and do his will, him he heareth. John 9:31 ASV

One known or unknown sin cancels all the good deeds that we do for God

When I say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his righteousness, and commit iniquity, none of his righteous deeds shall be remembered; but in his iniquity that he hath committed, therein shall he die. Ezekiel 33:13 ASV (also Romans 2:12, James 2:10)

(1) And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
(2) Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy; for I Jehovah your God am holy. Leviticus 19:1-2 ASV

From the above quotes, we must come to understand that holiness or sanctification is not something which is given to us neither by Jesus nor by the Holy Spirit nor by keeping the 7th day sabbath, but that holiness is something we started to be when we repented, confessed our sins, got our sins forgiven by Jesus, got baptized to become the new creature in Jesus to live according to all His commandments (John 14:21-23, Matthew 7:21, James 2:10).

We are mistaken to believe that we can never become holy when the cited verses are calling on us to be holy, live holy, and die holy. If we are not holy by overcoming any sin and by not following and doing what men teach us (Mark 7:7), we will not be saved become our worship is worthless, vain. Also, the Holy Spirit only intercedes for the Holy ones, the saints, not for sinners. That is the doctrine of Romans 8:27.

Before even becoming holy or sanctified, we must also confess that Jesus is the 'I AM' or Jehovah according to John 8:24 and Exodus 3:13-15 to not die in our sins. Because salvation comes from confession with the mouth that Jesus is Jehovah God, according to Romans 10:9-11.

To be saved, before and after the coming of Jesus, we must become perfect and holy and must die holy because God is perfect and holy and does not evolve in any sinful environment or does not even listen to sinners. Luke 1:75, Leviticus 20:26, Ezekiel 33:13, John 9:31, Hebrews 12:14, et al.

Overcoming all, for divine perfection (being without even one iniquity or one sin), according to Ezekiel 33:13, is the ultimate goal for the salvation of Jesus because the forgiveness of sins is free when we stop sinning (Numbers 15:40, 1 Peter 1:16, James 4:7-11). We must be former sinners to take advantage of the grace offer and not active sinners.

The theology of perfection for salvation is NOT that Yehoshua (Iesus, Jesus) Messiah YAHWEH will cover our imperfections with His perfection while we keep on being imperfect because we can never be holy or perfect like God, so that we can get to the Kingdom of God though imperfect or unholy with sin, but covered by His blood because we believe in Him.

God always requires perfection, holiness or sanctification for His salvation, according to Numbers 15:40; Leviticus 19:2; Leviticus 11:44; 20:7; Numbers 11:18; Joshua 3:5; 7:13; 1 Samuel 16:5; 1 Chronicles 15:12; 2 Chronicles 29:5; 35:6, et al.

In Genesis 17:1, Jesus told Abraham to be perfect. He did not tell Abraham to slack somehow and He will adjust to whatever Abraham is missing for perfection, thus, giving Abraham a pass.

Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48 ASV

Thou shalt be perfect with Jehovah thy God.  Deuteronomy 18:13 ASV

And Abram was ninety-nine years old, when Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said to him, I am the Almighty *God: walk before my face, and be perfect. Genesis 17:1 Darby

For whoever shall keep all the Law, but stumbles in one, he has become guilty of all. James 2:10 LITV

That ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. Numbers 15:40 ASV

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him. John 14:21 ASV

Ephesians 2:8-10 ASV
(8)  for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
(9)  not of works, that no man should glory.
(10)  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.

If you believe in Jesus and still see yourself as a sinner, you do not believe in the real Jesus who, in Ezekiel 33:13 and elsewhere, calls on all men to be holy.

The Church members in the time of the Apostles were already holy, and as such, received the Holy Spirit. They were not 'called to be holy' as most translations added to the text of the New Testament. Read all the first verses of the Epistles of Apostle Paul.
